Work as a nurse in Holland

Are you looking for a job as a nurse in Holland? Then you might want to check out Dutch healthcare organization Pleyade and our vacancies for foreign caretakers. Because we suffer from a serious lack of good nurses over here in the Netherlands, we can offer EU certified a wide range of nursing jobs with competitive salaries and more than enough spare time.

However, we aim for the best care possible. That’s why we need you to be able to comprehend the Dutch language, so you can understand your clients needs and provide the needed care. You don’t have to worry about learning Dutch yourself, though. We’ve developed an educational program in which we’ll convey everything you need to know.

So, do you want to work as a nurse in Holland? Then read all about our Eduployment Program for certified nurses and discover all the benefits and opportunities!

The program summarized

The Eduployment Program for EU certified nurses starts with an introductory course in which you’ll learn the most important and basic words in Dutch language. The course is given in your own home country and is, except for the required study app, free of charge. After completing the course, we’ll invite you over for an internship so you can experience what it’s like to be a nurse in Holland.

During this period you’ll get accustomed to the Dutch healthcare protocols while meeting your future colleagues and performing some activities of daily living for our clients. That won’t be for nothing and, to make your first months as comforting as possible, we’ll arrange some housing too. At the end of the internship, you’ll be given the choice to continue at Pleyade or just quit. No strings attached.

Continuing means you’ll roll into another language course in which you’ll be taught about the Dutch language and healthcare customs even more, right until you have reached the required level for passing a state exam. Passing the state exam grants you a Dutch nurse registration which is obligated to have when you apply for jobs as a nurse in Holland. After that, your career as a healthcare professional can really take off!
