International nursing jobs in Europe

Finding a job in healthcare with a competitive salary and decent working conditions might be tough in your home country, but not in all EU member states. In some countries, there is a  shortage of good staff. Therefore Eduployment offers job-seeking caretakers a chance at international nursing jobs in Europe, specifically in the Netherlands.

To ensure our nurses meet the needs of our clients and patients, it is crucial they are able to communicate in Dutch. That’s why we’ve developed an educational program which prepares applicants for their international nursing career in the best possible way. Ultimately, you’ll end up working in nursing homes, general hospitals or psychiatric institutions.

The Eduployment Program: Step 1

Certified EU nurses looking for international nursing jobs in Europe can apply for the Eduployment Program. After that, you’ll follow a preparatory language course in which we’ll teach you the most important words and basic phrases to understand and express yourself in the Dutch language.

After completing the course, we invite you to the Netherlands for a paid introduction period of approximately 3 months in which you’ll get acquainted with the Dutch customs in healthcare and your future coworkers while performing ‘Activities of Daily Living’ for our clients. Meanwhile, you’ll benefit from arranged housing and a competitive salary.

After this introduction period, you’ll follow another language course in which you’ll learn to master the Dutch language at an advanced level. That is required for passing a state examination, which in turn is a requirement for applying for a Dutch nurse registration. With the registration, you’ll be qualified to carry out your profession as a nurse in professional institutions.

Step 3

As a licensed Dutch nurse, your career as a professional caretaker can really take off. While you’re working at the Dutch nursing home, we’ll continue to offer you possibilities to grow in your role as a nurse with full responsibility or to develop yourself in different aspects of nursing required in all kinds of institutes.
