In Dutch healthcare, continuity and connection matter. But with staff shortages, a high workload, and increasing reliance on costly agencies and freelancers, long-term stability often feels out of reach.
At Eduployment, we offer a future-proof alternative. We’re not a staffing agency or middleman. We’re a specialised language school that acts as a bridge between trusted nursing education across Europe and Dutch healthcare institutions.
Our mission is simple: to connect you with motivated nursing professionals, (often young) people who want to build a life and career in the Netherlands. People who join your team directly, through a regular employment contract, and who are fully prepared for the work ahead.
For over 20 years, we’ve partnered with respected nursing schools, colleges, and universities across Europe, especially in countries like Greece, Portugal, Italy, and the Baltic States. Thanks to these close partnerships, we attract ambitious students and recent graduates who are eager to grow and commit.
International nurses also increasingly find their way to us directly, choosing Eduployment because of our reputation and support.
All participants follow intensive Dutch language training, with a focus on care-related communication (level A2 or B1). Programmes are available part-time or full-time, depending on personal circumstances. The training is sponsored by their future employer: you.
We don’t introduce candidates until they’ve been thoroughly screened, coached, and prepared, both in language and in mindset. We invest in getting to know each candidate, their values and motivation, ensuring a strong match with your team.
After completing the language course, typically 8 months full-time or 18 months part-time, our candidates begin working directly for your healthcare organisation under a regular employment contract. No staffing agency contracts. No freelancers. Just future colleagues, ready to grow with you.
They integrate quickly into the team, and our experience shows they bring reliability, dedication, and calm. Their preparation reduces workload pressures, supports continuity of care, and contributes to a positive work culture.
We collaborate closely with our European partner nursing educational institutions and involve them in the process. We regularly organise visits to the Netherlands, allowing faculty members to see how Dutch healthcare functions and meet the institutions where their students may work or intern.
Because of these trusted relationships, we’re also invited into classrooms across Europe to present opportunities in Dutch healthcare. This helps us inspire and inform students early, building confidence and interest in a career in The Netherlands
When you work with Eduployment, you’re investing in someone who becomes part of your team, not a temporary solution. The healthcare institution sponsors the language training, and in return gains a committed, well-prepared colleague.
Compared to the structural costs of hiring temporary workers or freelancers, our approach is much more affordable. And more importantly, it brings back stability.
You’re not just filling a gap, you’re building a team.
Many of your new colleagues are young, energetic, and deeply motivated to build a future in the Netherlands. They bring fresh perspectives, a drive to learn, and a strong sense of purpose, qualities that enrich teams and help prepare for future challenges, including the upcoming wave of retirements and increased care needs.
