Nurse hiring abroad: Meet Eduployment

Even in some European countries finding decent healthcare jobs is hard. But not in the Netherlands, since we’re experiencing a serious deficit of certified nurses and caretakers that can provide professional care and assistance to those who need it most. That’s exactly why Eduployment has focused on nurse hiring abroad.

With lots of different positions you’ll always find the jobs that suits you best. Whether that includes working in a generic or psychiatric hospital, rehabilitation clinic or nursing home, we’ll always offer competitive salaries, good working conditions, furnished studios for living and more than enough spare time. And that is just the starting point of the Eduployment program-nursing abroad.

However, first we need you to complete an educational program. The Eduployment program, as it’s called, features language courses and a paid introduction period, so you’ll be fully prepared for a successful and rewarding career as a Dutch healthcare professional. Curious? Read all about our Eduployment Program below and sign up!

The program in a few short steps

Nurse hiring abroad has its drawbacks. For example, if you can’t understand a client’s wishes and needs, you won’t be able to provide the best care possible. Therefore it’s essential that you learn to communicatie in Dutch on a high level. That’s why the first part of the Eduployment Program includes an introductory language course in which you’ll master the most important and basic words. This course doesn’t require any tuition fees and is mostly given in your own home country.

Next up is a paid introduction period (duration: 4-6 months) at a nursing home in the Netherlands. During this period, you’ll get used to our customs and methods and you get a chance to meet possible clients and coworkers. You’ll benefit from a subsidized living space (studio) and quite a salary while still having enough time to explore the Dutch cities and culture.

After your introduction period you’ll have to decide whether working in the Netherlands is the right fit for you. If it still is, continuing means you’ll advance to another course in which we’ll teach you the Dutch language and healthcare protocols in depth. After that, you have all the tools and knowledge needed to pass the state exam, which is required for applying for a Dutch nurse registration. And not only that. The “in depth course” also gives you the tools to grow further in your profession to become a specialized nurse and/or manager of a nursing department.

Find your job

Upon receiving the registration, our nurse hiring abroad really starts bearing fruit for you since you’re able to apply for various nursing positions. After getting your dream job, we will continue to offer you opportunities for more personal and professional growth. Think of management courses or specializing in one or more nursing disciplines. It’s all up to you.
