Eduployment’s job offers in the Netherlands

In some European countries healthcare jobs with a decent salary and good working conditions are scarce and annual registration fees high. However, not in Holland. We are experiencing a serious lack of healthcare professionals who are able to provide care and assistance for the elderly or people that have to rehabilitate. That’s why Eduployment has some interesting job offers in the Netherlands for certified nurses and caretakers alike.

Those job offers in the Netherlands mostly consists of positions in hospitals or nursing homes. Regardless of your favorite place to work, you will need to be able to communicate well with our clients and patients to understand their needs. To prepare you, we came up with a special program that teaches you everything you need to know about the Dutch language and our healthcare customs: the Eduployment Program.

Are you interested in working as a nurse in Holland and want to learn more about our educational program? Read more or get inspired by a short summary of what to expect and sign up for a spot!

The program in short

The Eduployment Program starts with an introductory course in which you’ll learn the most basic and important words and phrases in the Dutch language. This course is given in your own home country and doesn’t require any tuition fees. Upon completion we’ll invite you over to Holland for a paid introduction period at our organization, so you can get to know our clients and meet your possible future colleagues. Although our job offers in the Netherlands are meant for EU certified nurses, students can follow an additional route to a successful nursing career.

During this period you will perform some ‘activities of daily living’ while enjoying subsidized housing and being paid a competitive salary. After a few months, you’ll have to decide whether you see yourself working at one of our job offers in the Netherlands or whether working in Dutch healthcare doesn’t suit you well. When you do want to continue, you’ll roll into the next step of the program.

The second part of the program includes another language course in which you’ll learn to communicate in Dutch even better, while also getting accustomed to our healthcare guidelines. You’ll be prepared to take a state exam. Passing the exam is mandatory for applying for a Dutch nurse registration, which in turn is required for several healthcare job offers in the Netherlands.

The last part

After receiving your registration, you’ll be able to apply for a lot of vacancies. After finding and getting your ideal position, we’ll continue to offer you various possibilities to further develop skills that benefit your profession als a nurse. You might want to learn more about management or specialize yourself in one of the nursing disciplines.
