However, to claim such a job you’ll first have to complete our educational program.
The Eduployment Program, as it’s called, prepares you for succeeding in all kinds of working places for nurses in the Netherlands. Interested? Read more about our program and discover all our opportunities!
The Eduployment Program in brief
For EU-nurses, the program starts with an introductory language course in which you’ll learn how to understand and express yourself in basic Dutch. After completing the beginner’s course, we invite you to come over to the Netherlands for a paid introduction period of approximately 5 months. During this period you’ll get accustomed with Dutch healthcare guidelines, our clients and your future colleagues while having the time to figure out whether working at Pleyade is the right fit for you.
After this introduction period you continue to work on you language skills while learning more about our healthcare idiom and protocols. You’ll do so until you have reached the required level for applying for the obligated nurse registration, which can be requested after passing a state examination. Don’t worry, we’ll prepare you in the best way we can. After obtaining such registration, your nursing career can really begin.
But it doesn’t end there. At Pleyade, we’ll continue to offer you the possibility to grow into your role as a nurse with full responsibility. Personal growth is important for us. That’s why we also offer various training courses which you can follow to further specialize yourself in multiple disciplines, so you ultimately end up in a wide range of working places for nurses like general and psychiatric hospitals or private clinics.
When applying for the Eduployment Program, you are investing valuable time and effort into working at our organization. In return, we take care of the rest. Amongst other things, we offer you:
- a free beginner’s course with an introductory period in which you get paid
- a free follow-up program to get your language skills to the required level of a professional nurse
- help during all periods of your study
- arranged housing during your language training (if the course is outside your place of residence)
- competitive salaries with extra payments for working irregular hours, overtime and on Sundays and public holidays
- a continuous development program for personal and professional growth
- and an introduction to other healthcare institutions after two years (if you think it is time for a career switch)
